Blooming Glen Farm, a staple of the Bucks County farming community, celebrates its 20th year of operations this summer! Farmers and owners Tom Murtha and Tricia Borneman started the farm 20 years ago with a big dream and wow how they grew their vision.Â
The farm is located in Perkasie where they grow a variety of certified organic vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers, available through a CSA program and local farmers markets. They cultivated a loyal following of members and customers, providing community, cooking knowledge (with accessible recipes), and always growing beautiful produce. They are a must stop shop at the Wrightstown Farmers Market!

Beyond growing food, they are incredibly supportive of other local farmers, both aspiring and experienced, sharing insights, information on grants and programs, and continually advocating for the farming community.
Blooming Glen Farm hosted a 20th birthday party on July 19 at their farm. There was live bluegrass music, several excellent food and drink vendors and pick your own flowers! The party was sold out and everyone attending had a great time.

Congratulations to Blooming Glen Farm on this milestone. We are grateful for all that you have brought to the community and Bucks County Foodshed!
