At last! Kind Earth Growers is hosting a ‘Grow your own native plants’ workshop. This workshop intends to introduce participants to the foundations of growing native plants. John Mark Courtney will speak on seed collection techniques, the dos and don’ts of collecting, the timing of seed collection, and species identification. Joe LaMent will continue the conversation in the afternoon, guiding attendees through seed preparation (the Whizzer), cleaning, and proper storage techniques. In addition, he will demonstrate seeding techniques for successful germination.
