Pruning always seems to be a topic that intimidates a lot of people. One wrong snip and you could set your fruit tree back years! But at the same time, once you understand the fundamentals, you’ll realize just how easy and enjoyable pruning really is. So get ready to leave your pruning worries behind and come join us for a day-long pruning workshop where we will co over the fundamentals of pruning fruit trees, nut trees, berry bushes, and other plants!
The workshop will take place on a single day over a period of six hours, which includes a one-hour lunch break, with lunch provided by us. We will provide some tools, but we encourage you to bring your own pruning tools if you have them, as we will likely not have enough tools for everyone. The workshop will cover pruning theory and practice and everyone who attends will have a chance to practice the various techniques and shapes taught in the workshop.
9:45 – 10:00 am: Meet at Hundred Fruit Farm. Grab some coffee or tea (provided by us) and sign in for the workshop.
