Wrightstown Farmers Market
The Wrightstown Farmers Market Committee is dedicated to providing a market for locally produced food as we navigate through these uncertain times. Since The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has deemed farmers markets as ‘essential’, we will remain open during the Coronavirus pandemic and committed to our role as a key component of the local food supply. We are following CDC safety guidelines in an effort to promote the health and safety of our customers and vendors.Â
The Wrightstown Farmers Market will hold it’s last winter market on Saturday, April 25th from 9-12 PM (9-10 am for seniors and those with underlying health issues, 10-12 pm for everyone else).  Our regular season market begins Saturday, May 2nd – however the market will continue at The Anchor Church location throughout the month of May (980 Durham Rd, Wrightstown, PA 18940). Starting May 2nd,  our regular market hours will transition to 9 am to 1 pm (9-10 am for seniors and those with underlying health issues and 10-1 PM for everyone else).  The reason we will stay at The Anchor Church through May is to give time for the field to dry out at our regular location at the Wrightstown Township Municipal Offices (2203 Second Street Pike in Wrightstown) so we can be sure to spread out for social distancing, hopefully by June. Please be sure to check regularly on the website, the newsletter, Facebook, and Instagram for updates and changes

Information for the April 25 Winter Market:
Compliance with these important rules will help keep our market safe and available to the community.
-  New Market Hours: 9 AM – 12 PM. If you are a senior citizen or have underlying health issues, shop the market from 9-10 AM.
-  Pre-order and pre-pay as much as you can. Click here for pre-ordering information.
- Maintain a distance of at least 6 feet apart from one another at all times. The Market has been moved outside the Church with vendors spaced at least 20 feet apart.
- Please wear a mask covering your nose and mouth.
- No cash bills or coins may exchange hands. Please have exact change and make arrangements with vendor in advance. Fill checks out prior to market. To avoid this all together, pre-order and pre-pay.
- Please have only one person from your household shop the market and pick up your pre-ordered food to keep crowds at a minimum.Â
- Please bring your own hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes.
- Credit Cards – Vendors will be instructed to have credit card device on their table and will step back 6 feet while you step forward. Please use a wipe from home for inserting, removing card and touching device.  Vendor will wipe down device in between customers.
In addition to these steps, vendors will be following safety guidelines as well, wearing masks and using clean gloves, changing them frequently throughout the morning, sanitizing surfaces often, offering sanitizing wipes at vendor booths when available, having one person handling money and another handling product. We will also be spacing vendors out along the Church driveway in order to adhere to social distancing and reduce crowding.
As you know, things are changing hourly, and even the best laid plans can be affected by new updates. We will do whatever we can to keep this market open and functioning in some capacity as we finish out the winter season and the start of the regular season. Please check back regularly here, Facebook, Instagram and the Newsletter prior to the market for any updated information. Also check on our vendors’ social media platforms and websites for updates.
Doylestown Farmers Market
The Doylestown Farmers Market is pleased to announce that our new opening day will be May 2nd. Due to the state and local Coronavirus restrictions in place, the market will operate its May 2nd and May 9th markets using a Coronavirus Mitigation Plan for Vendors and Customers, a plan approved by the Doylestown Borough.Â
The market’s Coronavirus Mitigation Plan asks customers for their cooperation to make this plan work well for everyone’s health and safety. We are asking our customers to do the following:
- Please leave your wonderful dogs at home during this time in order to prevent gathering, maintain social distancing and expedite your safe trip through the market. The May 2nd and May 9th markets are for food vendors only.
- Please pre-order and pre-pay for as much as possible from our vendors. A list of vendor contact information will be published on our Facebook and Instagram accounts as well as our newsletter and website the week before each market.
- Customers are kindly asked not to touch produce and products. Vendor staff will bag your items or place them on a table for you to bag yourself. This is to stop cross contamination.
- We ask that one person per household come to the market during this period of time in order to help limit everyone’s exposure and increase your ability to comfortably practice social distancing.
- We will be attempting to keep a safe number of customers in the market at any given time and will create one exit and one entrance to the market. We ask your cooperation in heeding this entrance and exit point which will be near the parking lot entrance on the West State Street end of the market.
- For everyone’s safety, we ask your help in staggering the amount of customers coming to the market by following these arrival recommendations based on age and your last name: 8 am to 9 am is for any customer 60 years or older, 9 am to 10 am is for customers whose last name begins with A through H, 10 am to 11 am is for customers whose last name begins with H through P, 11 am to 12 pm is for customers P through Z, and 12 pm to 1 pm is open for any customer that was prevented from coming during their designated time . There will be one entrance and one exit to the market for everyone’s safety and we will monitor the amount of people in the market at one time and attempt to keep 25 people or less in the market at any one time.
- We ask that you practice social distancing by keeping 6 feet between yourself and any other person.
- We also ask that you have your own supply of hand sanitizer to use in between vendor visits.
- We ask that in those cases that you have not pre-paid for items and do not use a credit card at the market, you are prepared with a wide variety of cash bills so that change from a vendor would not be necessary.
- Any items purchased at the market are meant for take home consumption.
We greatly thank our kind and loyal customers in advance for adhering to these necessary safety guidelines. In addition, for the public’s safety, our vendors will also be taking many precautions such as wearing gloves, retrieving items for you, having items prepackaged, providing hand sanitizer at their checkout stands, sanitizing hard surfaces at regular intervals, and providing as many touchless pay systems as possible. We are looking forward to the start of the market and enjoying our 45th year as the Doylestown Farmers Market! See you on May 2nd!
