April 15th is opening day for the Doylestown Farmers Market! Join us from 8am to 1pm for the happiest and most delicious street party featuring the best local produce and products. This season marks our 48th year of continual operation, the oldest in Bucks County. We have several new vendors this year and more on the way. Our newly elected Mayor Noni West join us at 8am for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The Back Porch Jug Band will play us through the day with their lively and creative music. Our farmers and vendors will have all of your favorites from breakfast pastries, coffee, mushrooms, spring greens, pickles, microgreens, bedding plants and vegetable starts, beer, mead and kombucha, beef jerky, pet products, soaps, alpaca yarn and products, and so much more. Our opening day vendors are: Love Grows, Manoff Cidery, Swheat Escape, 1Love Jerk Hut, Pan’s Forest, Solrig Micorgreens, Nord Bread, Primordia Mushrooms, Perfect Day Coffee, Hershberger Heritage Farm, Wildbird Flowers, Piebird Farm, Lambertville Bakehouse, MEZZE Humus Haven, Carols Aromatherapy, Noshes by Sherri, Bucks County Alpacas, Ten7 Brewing, Marie’s Soap, Wildemore Farm, Haven Farmstead Table, Portch Tea Kombucha, Jersey Pickles, Tybuk Maple Farm, Trauger’s Farm, Kathy’s Kanine Kreations and BCS Compost.
We are so excited to announce our new vendors: Lambertville Bakehouse (lots of flavors of croissants, muffins and other breakfast pastry), Inna’s Pierogis, Fork’D Pierogis, MEZZE Hummus Haven, Art of the Gift, Aquascapes and Kara Jo Skin Care and Bee farm.
Join us every Saturday from 8am to 1pm on South Hamilton Street (behind the Doylestown Book Shop) from April 15th to November 18th this year. Make sure to stop by our market tent (next to the musician’s tent) for market merchandise (tote bags and more). In order to help those eligible in our community to increased access of local food, we accept SNAP. While funds last, BCFA will match $2 for every $5 spent with SNAP! See Alex or Kelly at the green market tent to use your card.
