Our small farmers need you now more than ever!

Mar 20, 2020 | Buying Local, Support for Local Farmers | 0 comments

We’re pleased to know that the PA Department of Agriculture is agreeing that farmers markets should stay/be open during the Coronavirus pandemic just as grocery stores are open as essential services to the community. We now have new guidelines for health and safety and both of our markets will implement these new measures.

Please support our farmers and your health by safely visiting and purchasing from our markets, Doylestown Farmers Market and Wrightstown Farmers Market, for nourishing produce and other food products. Wrightstown Farmers Market will stay at The Anchor Church and vendors will be outside on the Church grounds for the balance of the winter market season. Please check the website for up-to-date information.

Do your part by social distancing, be prepared for a quick trip, supply your own hand sanitizer if possible (we are asking each vendor to have some as well), be prepared to pre-order and pre-pay for your items with as many vendors as possible. Information on how to do this will be given by each market ahead of time.  If we all work together and all do our part, we can stop the spread of the virus and have our lives return to normal.
