BCFA extends a huge Thank You to Kimberton Whole Foods (KWF) in Ottsville for selecting us as their November Rounding Up at the Register beneficiary—and an equally big Thank You to the customers who chose to round up their grocery totals to the nearest dollar! Together, those small acts of generosity added up to $4,312, which KWF then matched dollar for dollar, resulting in an astounding $8,624 to support our mission and initiatives.
Their generosity does not stop with BCFA. Every month, all seven KWF locations feature a different nonprofit through their Rounding Up at the Register program, with both customer donations and matching funds. KWF and its shoppers collectively make a significant contribution to the health and growth of 84 nonprofit organizations each year, including 12 right here in Bucks County!
Recognizing its significant, decades-long dedication to providing wholesome food and community engagement within southeastern Pennsylvania, WholeFoods Magazine named KWF the 2025 Retailer of the Year. Founded in 1986 by Terry and Pat Brett as a small farm store and dairy processing operation for the Kimberton Waldorf School in Chester County, Pennsylvania, KWF remains family-owned and deeply committed to local, organic, and sustainable agriculture.
From those early beginnings, Kimberton Whole Foods has grown into a thriving, multi-generational business with multiple locations across southeastern Pennsylvania. They offer organic and natural foods from more than 200 local farmers and artisans within a 100-mile radius of their warehouse in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.
