BCFA is seeking volunteers to implement our “Feed a Family, Support a Family Farm” Program at Doylestown Farmers Market. This volunteer position requires about 2 hours of your time 2 times a month for the months of September, October and November. Your role would be to purchase (with money we supply) produce from all of our farmer vendors towards the end of our market (about 12 noon) and then drive the produce to Grundy Hall (about 3 miles away from the market) to distribute to the elderly residents there. Grundy Hall will be ready to receive the produce in their lobby. If you are interested in helping, please email dtownmarketmanager@gmail.com.
