Volunteering in the Foodshed 2023

There are many wonderful organizations that are looking for volunteers this summer. These food/farm-related nonprofits need your help to support local farmers and supply local food to community members in need. 

Bucks County Foodshed Alliance and our markets

Our organization, Doylestown Farmers Market and Wrightstown Farmers Market are always looking for volunteers. Check our website for opportunities!

Locations: remote, Doylestown, Wrightstown

Bucks County Housing Group 

BCHG has standing volunteer hours every Friday from 9am-12pm at their Penndel Community Garden. More volunteer opportunities on their website.

Location: Langhorne

Carversville Farm Foundation

CFF has many slots open for volunteers from egg washing to harvesting. Check their website for opportunities 

Location: New Hope

Rolling Harvest Food Rescue

Rolling Harvest has standing volunteer times every Wednesday and Saturday mornings 9 to 11 at Gravity Hill Farm, 67 Pleasant Valley Road in Titusville, NJ. And we will be starting up again soon every Monday 9 to 11 at Solly‘s farm 707 Almshouse Rd.,Ivyland PA. Check their website for opportunities and make sure to download their mobile app to be notified of volunteer opportunities.
