Welcome New Director: Heather Guidice!

BCFA is pleased to announce Heather Guidice has been elected to the board of directors!

With a deep interest in ensuring the health of our planet, Heather founded Kona Compost Co., a curbside compost collection service in 2019. Focused on making composting easy, she’s successfully engaged and helped hundreds of Bucks County residents & businesses keep their food waste out of the landfill. In 2023 she launched sister brand, Fill & Flourish, a mobile refillery to address plastic waste and make non-toxic products more accessible. Heather also co-founded the Bucks County Seed Share, whose mission is to save, collect and freely share open-pollinated seeds with home gardeners. To date, over 20,000 packs of seeds have been given away!

Heather brings her enthusiasm & knowledge of compost, local food, gardening, native plants and seeds to the forefront of daily life and works with others to encourage living sustainably and in sync with nature. She resides in Yardley with her wife, spoiled dog and happy birds.

Make sure to say hi to Heather when she is the Wrightstown Farmers Market!
