Having fun learning together

Since our inception, BCFA has worked with community and regional experts to provide programs for the general public to get to know their farmers and better understand our overall food system: ways to grow, create, prepare, preserve and share local food as well as how healthy food that comes from healthy ecosystems supports our health, well-being and economic resilience. Our programs feature speakers, films and hands-on workshops about Food systems, Health and Nutrition topics to help all of us better understand why having access to local food is so important. And here is Bucks County, we are so lucky to have such a vibrant local food community of farmers, markets, restaurants and more! Our programs also include Gardening Programs that encourage food security and food independence through the simple joy of growing our own food as well as Cooking Programs that teach time-saving techniques and new ideas for using locally grown products that families and foodies love!
