Wrightstown Farmers Market Pie Contest

PIE BAKE OFF CONTEST!

CALLING ALL BAKERS AND TASTERS!

PIE CONTEST RULES:

The Pies:

1. Contest is open to all amateur bakers. No professional bakers/chefs permitted to enter.
2. Pies may have single or double crusts….lace/lattice or crumb tops may also be used.
3. All entries must be baked at home, from scratch, including crust, using any recipe of your choice.
4. Entrants will present a copy of their recipes….both filling and crust. Or at least a list of ingredients for those with a food allergy.
5. No pies requiring refrigeration

Registration:

1. Entrants must preregister. Please email Cheryl Gilmore at: managerWFM@gmail.com by 9/20.
2. Drop off pie to the center Tasting Tent by 9:30 am on 9/21.

Judging:

1. Customers are the judges! $1 buys a tasting spoon – sample one bite of each pie!
2. Vote for your favorite pie based on overall best taste and presentation.
3. Winners will be announced at the music tent at 12:30 PM
